I spent six weeks testing AI-powered reward apps across different task categories. The criteria were straightforward: how transparent is the redemption process, how easy is the initial setup, and what does the actual payout flow look like from first task to first redemption.
The "AI reward app" category covers a wider range than most people expect. Some apps use AI to match you with tasks, others power the task pipeline itself — labeling training data, rating search results, verifying content. What they share is a mobile-first workflow and a points-to-redemption model rather than direct payment.
Below are six apps I tested most extensively, each for at least two to four weeks.
